Since the representative networks of state TAFES disappeared in the late 1990’s, NUS has been a major point of contact for TAFE students who want to get active.
NUS is joining calls from TAFE action groups (TAGs) to end university-style fees being introduced in different states. If you are TAFE student in a state without fees you should get active right now before your premier introduces TAFE fees.
TAFE-University pathways: as part of the Bradley Review and NUS’ core mission, NUS supports easier and fairer pathways between TAFEs and Universities. Get involved to make this happen.
Your issues could be here. NUS is still developing policy on TAFEs:
- Get Active and become an organiser for your TAFE.
- Get involved and be a much needed voice for the hundreds of thousands of students in TAFE.
